We’re Hiring: Site Supervisor (Full-Time)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to join our team at Urban Habitats. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee the construction of architecturally designed homes, coordinating trades, managing timelines, and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has 5+ years experience, shares our passion for design and craftsmanship, and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with our in-house design team, subcontractors, and clients, you’ll play an integral role in bringing complex architectural projects to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site operations across residential construction projects (new builds, alterations and additions.)
- Coordinate trades, suppliers, and deliveries to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to schedule.
- Maintain quality control and uphold Urban Habitats’ standards of precision and detail.
- Manage site safety and compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, the design team, and company directors.
- Monitor project timelines, resolving issues proactively.
- Keep accurate site records and progress reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in residential construction, ideally on architecturally designed or high-end homes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple sites, trades and priorities.
- Sound knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and WHS requirements.
- Competent with construction software (e.g. Buildertrend or similar).
- Current driver’s licence (required).
- Trade qualification and/or Certificate in Building & Construction (preferred).
