This large character home underwent a significant transformation with major renovations and remedial work resulting in its current contemporary state of grandeur.
Starting from the front façade, with the focus on the new extensive grand verandah floor tiling, slate edging, even the existing terracotta tile roof together with a contemporary colour palette sets the scene for the new exquisite, transformed spaces inside.
The brief was to “update a very tired old villa and provide a substantial overhaul with a light filled and personality”.
With removal of internal walls and creating new opening the newly created spacious and open plan kitchen, dining area flows and connects to the new undercover terrace entertaining area complete with Kanmantoo stone feature fireplace.
The existing master suite bedroom is a modern twist on olde world luxury complete with boutique style walk lighting walk-through dressing room with floor to ceiling of storage for the main bedroom. The additional bedrooms and ensuites were treated with the same focus of individual treatment and the list continues.
The rejuvenated functional and heart of the home Kitchen together with Butler’s Pantry complete with European appliances and high-quality tapware, matching side desk and new timber flooring in a herringbone pattern.
The Kitchen opens onto the Outdoor Entertaining area with steel bi-fold windows providing the seamless transition for entertaining. The bi-fold doors from the Dining area also open onto the Outdoor area.
Each room in this home has been treated the same considered attention to detail providing function and form and luxurious finishes.
