UH Projects.

A new initiative by Urban Habitats.

The idea of UH Projects started from a simple desire to build more beautiful houses. Urban Habitats love working with clients to design and build their dream homes, however we recently came to the realisation that we want to build our own dream homes as well.

We see opportunities everywhere to improve properties, whether it be in relation to their usability, aesthetics, density or durability. We are excited to acquire, design, build and deliver positive changes to revive a home. We lean into the challenge of deeply considering a property to find the best improvement opportunity and outcome where it may not be initially perceptible. By acting as the client for our own design and build projects, we can really expand the design capabilities of our architectural team and the quality craftmanship of our dedicated trade base.

At the centre of it all, UH Projects aspire to not just build houses, but build homes that individuals, couples and families will walk into and fall in love with. We aspire to create homes and spaces which future residents and visitors enjoy the feeling and function.

Our two most recent projects are located on Edward Street in Norwood, and on Albert Street in Goodwood.

116 & 116a Edward.

The two new homes along Edward Street were completed in early 2022, and stand comfortably together and in the street. One of these two homes was sold off-market and before the commencement of construction, with the other being purchased off-market during construction.

73 Albert.

Acquired in 2021, we set out to create two unique and modern compact homes. Among many key details, the central courtyard of the home has become, as envisaged, a focal point. Its inclusion provides generous sunlight to the kitchen, dining, living and master ensuite areas, but more significantly, the courtyard inspires a feeling of seclusion and calm to the home from the moment you open the front door.

35A Malcolm.

UH Projects purchased this property on the market in August 2023 and, alongside Urban Habitats, designed a new, stand-alone residence with pool and pool house to replace the existing home. Shortly after purchase, this home was sold off the plan to a buyer in our network who was looking to purchase a new home in the area. Completion of this home’s construction is set for 2025.

Little Archer.

UH Projects and Urban Habitats are looking to construct two new homes along this charming street. The design of these homes will continue to express the refined and elegant style we love, and make the most of the outstanding location. Register your interest to find out more.

Frederick St.

UH Projects will soon be releasing two new homes in Frederick Street, Maylands. Each of these two-storey homes will feature two undercover car parking spaces, dual living/sitting areas, walk in pantries, and three bedrooms – including a downstairs principal bedroom with ensuite and walk in robe. Register your interest to be the first to know when these properties become available for purchase!
